I've always believe that everything happens for a reason.

And Murphy's Law seems to be true sometimes, LOL. (at least to me la)

However, there are also a few other things...
Coincidence and the 7th sense.

Coincidence - could things be destined or fated?

I wouldn't say I believe in destiny and/or fate a hundred percent..

But sometimes things can really make me think twice.

My favourite self-created term; the "7th sense".

(note I did not say 6th sense,.. as it normally associates with.. you know.. intangible things ;p)

In this case, 7th sense as in you'd sense something is going to / may happen. And it really did!

The other day while I was in a wedding dinner, my eyes wandered around the hall and I spotted the wedding cake. I imagined the cake being toppled over (don't ask me why, I just did..) Quite random actually.

And the next thing I know, while two servers were shifting the table with the wedding cake, the upper part of the "cake" (I think it's fake) tumbled and the wedding accessories fell down.. psychic much?

Well, thank god they did not ruin the real cake situated at the bottom. But they did broke a few champagne glasses...

I am no longer a teenager :(

The big '2's has finally catched up! aaaaaaaaaahhh~!

How time flies!!!!

Celebrated my 20th with my close friends from uni @ Friday night on the 28th of October.

Before starting our journey to KL, Szelin helped Shin Yii and me with our make up!

Thanks babe! :D

After that, we went to Levain for dinner. Thank god we reached just in time before they close! :D

Then, we headed to Frangipani @ Changkat Bukit Bintang

*ehem ehem*

We were the first ones there as we reached at around 9.40pm!

We ordered house whiskey and waited for more customers to arrive when it's approaching midnight ;)

Yesterday my uni friends and I went to Overtime Kepong.

Freaking 1. hour. drive.

There's one Overtime near by house (like 3 mins drive) tapi we went all the way to Kepong because Kah Wai's dad has a share in that branch..

We went there to celebrate Nigel and Shin Yii's b'day :)

These few days have been so dull..
It's kinda hard to pass my time recently..
Have been watching the TV, watching drama, watching movie and so on...
Oh, and reading TVD book (Which, to my disappointment, slightly boring.. where I may end up sleeping after 30 minutes of reading it)
Currently listening to my playlist songs..
It's so boring! Almost the same songs over and over again..
Tho it consists of 179 songs.. it all seems so.. same..

I wish that I could run away somewhere..

maybe Europe..
I want to go to Europe!
For traveling purposes of course.., not for studying.
I want to visit those lovely countries!
France, especially.
And London. Oh, how I miss you so much!
I want to go to the theater so badly!

Sheirly's 21st

Went to Genting on the 27th~28th for Sheirly's 21st birthday bash.
We stayed at Awana and the party was also held there.
Before the dinner, we went up to Genting to walk around.

@ cable car.
We sat cable car to go up Genting because Tour de Langkawi was also held on the same day and the road was closed.
Plus, the weather was kinda bad.. very windy and misty.
And it's raining.
So no outdoor theme park for us.

Hot Starbucks on a cold weather FTW!
On the way down using the cable car, when it's around 4 cars until our turn to reach the station, suddenly the cable cars stopped moving forward and started to move slightly backwards.
Might be due to the windy and misty weather, that's why it stopped functioning for around 30 seconds.
Scared the hell outta us..

The other day I was watching L Change The World and thought to myself...

Hmm.. this "L" seems familiar.
Few days later I was so bored I randomly picked a tube of shower gel from my dressing table
and took a sniff ( I love the scent of Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B perfume )
and then I looked at the logo...

Hmm,... seems familiar as well!
The 2 of the logos looked almost alike!
No surprise there because Gwen Stefani's quite famous for her Harajuku Girls.

On another occasion, I was out with my parents to The Gardens & Mid Valley
we were shopping @ Isetan because there was sales!!!
Mummy was trying on clothes and I wandered around to see what's nice..
I came back to my parents and randomly told my dad,
"Dad, I want Nike shoes!!"
Surprisingly, he said
"Let's go" (to the Nike area)
At first there's this striking PINK trainers that caught my eye..
hehe, but in the end I bought a blue one!

So blueeeee... !! (I hope someone's not afraid of the STRIKING blue...:P)

We went to Din Tai Fung in The Gardens for lunch and I saw this couple.
They were about the age of 60~70 both of them grey-haired with glasses.
The woman is an Asian (Not sure if she's Malaysian) with LONG hair..
Seldom see ah ma with LONG grey hair (Long till buttocks)
Her husband is some Caucasion ah gong..
Both of them are reading books (and none of them talking/looking at each other)
kinda a weird sight for me.. especially in a restaurant..
and I don't think they were even eating..
maybe they mistaken the restaurant as a library? ;p hehe

Currently its the 3rd week going on 4th week of the 1st Semester of my Year 2..
Seems like exam is so near.. hahaha
Yesterday went to Shin Yii's house because we decided to STUDY..
end up we didn't touch the book but instead did our blog, Whimsical Needs .
hahaha..
Oh well, I hope I would be hardworking later and touch on some topics.

Watched Step Up 3D with Wing Yan a few days ago..

This time, I really watched it in 3D.. (Unlike Piranha)
Anyways, this movie was cool!
A lot of very nice and stunning dance moves.
Although the 3D glasses made my ear and eye hurt..
I'll give it a rating of 7/10 :)

Thriller movie!!
Damn syok!!
But this movie mostly shot inside an elevator..
some sort of cost reduction maybe? :P
It was kinda exciting..
My rating for it is 6.5/10

Watched Piranha 3D today..
But not in 3D .. haha.

The movie was awesomeeeee!!
a lot of gore, violent, gross scenes..very 18-ish movie..
my rating for it : 7.5/10
Lol.
Call me crazy but I don't know why some of the killing scenes are so funny.
Might be because its kinda ridiculous in a way...

Also watched Resident Evil: Afterlife..
Yeah, watched 2 movies today.. :P
and both horror/thriller movies haha..

Wentworth Miller is acting inside tooooo!!
Didn't know that until the credits at the beginning showed his name..
OMG.. melted.. :P
I'll give this movie a 6.5/10
(Wentworth may had had an influence on the rating hehehe)
This movie is not bad, but I personally think the previous ones are better..

What if it didn't happen, and what if it did?

Anyhow, what's done is done.
It is what it is.
Nothing can change that.
Time is always the medicine.
But the question is, how long does it take for it to be cured?

"Everything happens for a reason"

It's a phrase I always use.
Bad things happened in order for a good one to happen.
It is all I could say to comfort myself.

I don't regret the decisions that I've done.
I don't regret it at all.
Sometimes I think that I made the right choice.
No matter what, it makes me who I am right now.

I am happy, free, and I can do or say whatever I want.
I am no longer bound by the invisible rope.
Not anymore.
Not ever.

Sometimes it's good to think about the past
Reminds us of the wrong choices we've made, the wrong decisions we've done
Now, we learned our lessons, and hope for a better future to come
May it happen to all of us, including me and you! :)

Am back from Europe!!!! (at last!!)

5 weeks was a bit too long, nonetheless it was an awesome and fun vacation.
One of my favorite moments was visiting a London theater to watch Love Never Dies, a sequel of Phantom of the Opera.. :)

Another was my trip to Rome, Italy.
The Colloseum was breathtaking!
our hotel's street could see the historical monument and I literally screamed!!
How awesome is that?

There are also other lots and lots of epic moments during my trip,
and I am either too lazy or too forgetful to remember all of them!!
But as some people say, pictures speak louder than words!!! (bullsh*t, hehe)
(more like actions, but in my case, I am too lazy to post 'em here)

Went to Seremban yesterday for a dinner function..
My uncle was elected to be Rotary Club Seremban's President
and he invited us to the banquet..

Went for outing at Pavilion with Matt, Kah Wai and Yee Hoo

So long I haven't seen Yee Hoo, since after Form 5, which is like 3 years ago!! O.O
And Matt.. lagi long 'cos he went Canada to study
Matt changed a lot since he went to Canada.
But deep inside, what I see is still the same old Matt.

At first I thought the fonts were saying that Jake Gyllenhaal stinks.
But when I see clearly... OH. it meant the movie.

Jogjakarta Trip

Bonjour!!

I just came back from Jogjakarta, Indonesia..
and... I kinda love it there!
Especially my visit to the historical monuments ♥
On the 1st day, we went to Prambanan, which is an Indian temple built in the 9th century.
For Malaysian secondary students, you should see this word in your history text book ;)

Breathtaking, isn't it? :)

My uncle, aunt, me, mum and dad.

We travel around by van, with a tour guide.

The steps of the monuments. Steep like hell.

There was an earthquake that happened a few years back,
Prambanan temple got affected and the stones were dislocated.
Hence, the "sesated" stone above.

Due to the earthquake, this part of the monument is closed.
Under construction.

Notice the weird donkey-shaped ears the prince is wearing?
It has a meaning.
It means intelligence.. (If I remember it correctly)

Rp 1000 for a permit to take photos.
(notice the exception of batik museum)
and yes, I didn't obey that rule..
1000 rupiah is approximately equivalent to 37 sen.

This thing is located elsewhere around the sultan's land.
BTW, the buildings under the sultan's land has a different set of rules.
Yeah, different from the government's rules.
Yogyakarta's sultan has political powers too. In the parliament and everything.

This building has a great and interesting story behind it.
Notice the tall building.
The uppest floor (If I'm not mistaken) has a bed in it.

Our lovely dinner at our tour guide's boss house.
Weird.
Wonder why Indonesians are so open to tourists visiting their private homes.

Next day, it was the highlight of our trip to Jogjakarta.
We went to the infamous Borobudur temple.
It's a Buddhist temple built during the 9th century.

We woke up at 3.30am and got ready by 4am to head off to Borobudur.
(In order to watch the sunrise)
It was a 50 minute ride.

Breath-taking :)

Sadly, the mist is getting worse and worse..

Still has a good view nonetheless!!

Notice the L-shape.
The bricks are removed in order to show us that behind those stones,
there are carvings in it.

Spot the carvings?
There is more, underneath those stones.
The L-shaped was removed in order to inform us tourists that there are actually carvings inscribed inside the walls.

This is an interesting one.
The carvings along this part of the Borobudur temple is explaining the Good and the Bad things thought by Buddism.
This particular carving is saying about Karma.
The right side of the carving is showing people gossiping about other people.
The left side of the carving is showing that the karma of gossiping is that you'll have an ugly face in your next life.
*HAHAHA*

Next, we went to Gunung Merapi, an active volcano.
It has erupted a lot of times before.
The latest was year 2006

We also went to the Volcano Museum.
I took some pictures of pictures inside the museum.. :P

Notice the hole?
It was built during "Darurat" if I'm not mistaken.
Some of the natives that were nearby during the volcano eruption hide inside it.
Guess what happened to them?
FYI, when volcano erupts, it not only emits dangerous hot lavas, it also releases a 300 degree celcius hot smoke that would kill any living thing that touches it.
And... when the smoke pases thru this "safe-hole", it in turn, transform this "haven" into a hot oven.
So, the people that hide inside this hole during the volcano eruption,
turned raw to well-done.
Nuff said.

To and fro from hotel to Malioboro street and back again, 40 000 rupiah.
(About RM15)
A bargain, I must say.
Malioboro street is like some market full with traditional hand-made goods.
The cyclist were full with sweat after cycling for almost more than 1 hour.
Poor guys :P

FYI, Indonesians eat food during the night like that : -

Anyways, my 4 days 3 nights trip to Jogja is in conclusion, AWESOME!

Went to Ampang for lunch today :)

Shin Yii had been craving for Korean food for ages~
So we decided to go eat it after our assignment.

Szelin, Shin Yii and I were on the car, driving to uni to go to our lecture.
We saw a motorist laying down on the floor face down
She was unconscious at that time.. and her motorbike was lying beside her..
There was a blue car that has stopped few meters ahead and the owner rushed towards her..
the blue car owner was the one that knocked the victim down.
she panicked like shit (she's a student I guess, looks like foreigner)..
den we were also panic as well..
we stopped on the road side and Szelin called 999 straight away..
There was a Malay girl that picked up.. Szelin told her the details of the accident and where it was located
when Szelin said the accident happen at Jln Broga,
that lady don't know where is that,
So Szelin then said we are near Nottingham Uni, Lenggeng, Semenyih and such, she also don't know where the hell we are at.
(RELI STUPID AND NOT HELPFUL, not to mention, WASTING PRECIOUS TIME).
she could just check the system or something for the place right?!?!
den she asked us to wait a while and put Szelin on hold.. we waited for 1 minute or more
(which was damn long at that time cos a life's at stake!!)..
we were like WTF?? What if that victim was bleeding to death and we are still on hold??
HAIH.
Luckily, a klinik kesihatan van came.. maybe some motorist told them..
After for a few minutes the lady put us back..
that time we said we don't need an ambulance anymore cos there's the van =.="

Went Jusco this afternoon
Ate lunch with Shin Yii @ Old Town
Was suppose to fetch her but end up her fetching me =(
'cos my stomach ache came back again.. sigh
Bought a new eyeliner from Revlon
Love it :)
Doesn't smudge at all !!
And its RM27.. got sale. Not bad hehe.
Then, she fetched me back and I got a text from Szelin to go Leisure Mall for some shopping.
Too bad Shin Yii can't join 'cos she have to jaga her dad's store..
Walked around with Szelin and she bought earrings for annual dinner :)
Then, we had lunch/early dinner in Boston :)
Chatted for quite some time there.

Later, we went back to her house and checked our stocks .
And some accounting (altho kinda messed up)
But got la profit.

Anyways, it was kinda a nice experience to sell stuff.
At least it's something that I am interested in

I haven't got any new and interesting thing to talk about.
However just now I was listening to the radio and I heard JJ Lin introducing his new song in My FM
the title is

it means hugging each other when two people are back-to-back
He said the title sounds a bit absurd because how could you hug each other when you are back-to-back?
Well, actually, he said that it means that you and your other half are actually fighting (and or not talking to each other) but you two are still in love and care for each other as well.
To me, this song title is very meaningful and true as well.
JJ Lin has a lot of ideas in love songs lar..
like that also can come up with a beautiful title.
Nonetheless, the song is quite good too :)

I went back to my mum's hometown last week in Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan

I went there with Wan Xuan and her mum (my aunt, duh 'cos WX's my cous)
and guess what??
It's DURIAN SEASON!
boo ya!!

Spot the durians!! I can't count, there's too many!!

Well, my grandparents own an orchard that is home to many durian trees.
And there's been cases where their neighbours are taking those durian and selling them!
"Oh No!"
Well, we could easily sue them for trespassing and illegality :P
Shiz, I have to lay off from that Business Law book!
But, my grandparents are far too kind to do that!
and there's where I got it from ;)
So, instead of filing the lawsuit (which is a much more profitable way of course),
my grandpa tied his dogs in the orchard to guard those durians..
LOL!!

On the other hand, today my parents just came back from U.K.!!

Everyone is asking now, "What are your new year resolutions?"
"What are your hopes and dreams for the coming new year?"

Well.. my answer is...
um well.. I don't know.
Maybe pass my exam this coming January?

The year 2009 is quite a ride for me.
With ups and downs, tips and turns.
With a blink of an eye, here I am now,
sitting in front of my laptop blogging about the end of year 2009.

At first, I was not inspired to blog about my past memories of year 2009.
However, Shin Yii told me I haven't been blogging lately and why not blog about the new year?
Flipping through the calendars, and my previous blog posts,
I didn't know that actually I really had a great time in year 2009.

First off, January.
I had my trip with my girls Shin Yii, Shilei, Chloe and Sheirly to Singapore.
This is actually the first time I went overseas for a trip with friends.
Normally, my parents wouldn't even allow me to go to Genting or Cameron with my friends.

February.
This was the month of my first driving experience driving manual car
Rolled downhill a few times.
Damn, I hate manual cars.

Next, March.
I went to the beautiful island called Koh Samui situated in Thailand with my family.
The island is very lovely and the food there...
Oh gosh.. HEAVEN!
I still miss the tom yum goong over there.

April.
April was the month I received my P driving license.
only 8 months of experience in driving!
Minus the times I were in NS (3 months) that leaves 5 months?
And I drive to class everyday!
Other than that, April was the month of my University's Annual Dinner.
I had a great time and after prom, it was my first time going to a club.
And I was underage.
Good times.

May.
Nothing much in may, except that I got my new Nokia E66 that month.
I bought it with my own money..
Sweet.

June.
June was the month I went to Singapore (again).
But this time, I went there with my sis and my cousin.
Yes, only us 3 girls. We stayed at a distant relative's house.
A few days after my Singapore trip, I went to another "vacation" to Port Dickson.
My vacation consists of marching, shooting, eating dog food, going to classes, etc.
My so called "vacation" is called as
National Service or Program Latihan Khidmat Negara to others.
However un-fun and un-cool it sounds, it is, ironically, fun and cool.
But one of the highlights for my NS was that the H1N1 influenza hit our camp
(most of the camps, I heard)
and I was among the 90/120 quarantined in a separate dorm.
As many people say, good times passed by quickly.
And then, my NS life was over and I came back to civilization on early September.

October.
The month of my birthday.
It was a happy birthday.
I celebrated it with my group of friends from my University.
I was exactly 18 years old that day.
That month was a new beginning, and an end to another.

November.
November was quite a rough month.
I almost got into 2 car accidents, in just 5 days.
I blame the bad weather :P
Yeah, it was raining almost everyday during that month. (especially during late afternoons)
November was also the month where I got my new laptop, Acer Timeline 4810TZ.

December.
December. What about it?
Nothing much. Study, study and more study!
I went to Nigel's Christmas party 2 weeks ago.
Went to watch 4 movies in 3 days in a row.
And while I'm on that,
I was alone for X'mas and New Year because my parents are overseas.

Oh year 2010,
could you PLEASE bring me good luck, good health, love and happiness?
I would love that ;)

fuel tanker tragedy

I went back to my hometown in Jelebu, N9 yesterday to celebrate birthday ..
On the way there, my dad and I saw an accident scene.
Firstly, I saw a tall coconut tree, burnt..
Something creepy about the tree.. > <
So, my dad and I was curious what happened..
He slowed down the car and we took a good look at what happened at that place
The land was all black and burnt..
There was a burnt vehicle in the middle of the burnt house..
Then, today, my mum told me there was a fuel tanker that drove too fast
and lost control over the vehicle, and crashed on the house near the corner side of the road.

Fuel tanker ploughs into house, killing driver and two siblings

SEREMBAN: A widow, who had to leave her two young children behind to attend a course, will regret not taking them along for the rest of her life.

Minutes after Mariani Cembeng, 45, left her home at Kg Batu Ulu Klawang at 8.40am yesterday, a tanker carrying some 32,000 litres of fuel ploughed into her house beside the Seremban - Kuala Klawang road and burst into flames, killing the siblings and the driver.

The children - Anisah Hanapiah, 15, and her brother Mohd Hafiz, seven - were killed on the spot. Their charred bodies were found at 10.20am by firemen, huddled in what used to be the living room of their house, which was razed to the ground.

Destroyed: Firemen struggling to put out the fire from the oil tanker which ploughed into a house in Kg Batu Ulu Klawang yesterday. — Bernama

Driver Samsulkahar Bahudin, 36, from Malacca, crawled out of the burning vehicle with 60% burns on his body but collapsed and died.

It is believed that he had been negotiating a sharp bend along the notorious Bukit Tangga stretch towards a Petronas station in Kuala Klawang when he lost control of the tanker, causing it to plunge into the house located four metres below in a valley.

Villagers reported hearing at least two explosions following the crash.

The accident scene resembled a war zone, with the inferno from the blaze even engulfing several 10m tall coconut trees nearby.

It is understood that this was the second time a heavy vehicle had been involved in an accident at the same spot. A tanker filled with latex had overturned just outside Mariani’s house five months ago.

Razed: Both the house and tanker were totally destroyed in the horrific incident.

Jelebu Fire and Rescue chief Adzhar Che Onn said preliminary investigations showed that the tanker might have been speeding and that it had also struck a Mercedes-Benz parked at the road shoulder along the stretch.

He said although firemen managed to douse the fire within 90 minutes, they continued to spray water onto the site due to the strong petrol smell in the air.

When met later, Mariani, who had rushed home on hearing the news, said she could feel her heart beating fast when she saw fire engines, ambulances and police cars overtaking her vehicle.

“All I could think of was my children. I was shocked to see my house burning.

“I rushed towards it but the firemen stopped me,” she said, adding that her two younger children had been close and always looked out for each other.

“I can’t say anything more. I accept this as God’s will,” she said in between sobs.

Mariani, whose husband died two years ago, has two other children.

In a statement, Petronas Dagangan Bhd said it would take necessary action against the fleet operator involved in the incident.

“The authorities and representatives of Petronas Dagangan and the third-party fleet operator, which transports its products, were there to carry out mitigation action and investigate the cause of the accident,” it said, expressing its regrets and condolences to the family of the victims.

bonjour!
watched Ninja Assassin @ Jusco Cheras Selatan yesterday

it was a nice movie, worth watching.
I'll give it a rating of 6.5/10
Not bad, the storyline was okay.
Rain's body is good, I can't deny that fact hahaa
but the funny part was in that movie, his hair was not made properly ('cos he's a ninja, duh)
and so, a lot of girls were dissapointed.
inside the movie theater, u can hear the girls say "EEEWWW" when Rain first showed up in Ninja Assassin scene. (bad hair, maybe)

lookie! the parking ticket -- the ticket machine at the exit was spoilt,
so the management gave the cars out without puting the ticket into the machine =D

and look! (you can see a faint printing above that says 20:29)
cukup cukup 2 hour, so I don't need to pay RM1 for the parking =)

I recently watched New Moon on Friday the 27th with Shin Yii
in Jusco Cheras Selatan

Its just awesome, and I could watch it endlessly..
But, one thing that I'm not satisfied of is Kristen and Robert's acting.
They suck, seriously.
There's no chemistry between them!
I wonder why the first director hired them to be Bella and Edward.
Sorry for the Edward fans out there.
Nonetheless, Jacob, played by Taylor Lautner, is a good actor.
He has been acting since he's a child..
I still remember seeing him first time on Twilight, and I thought to myself..
this guy is familiar.. (not to mention, cute!)
then, I IMDB-ed him, and found out that he acted on The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl
weird and lame movie, but worth the time watching when your bored, lol.

Corny cover, I know, LOL.
My my, how have Taylor grown..
and he became a super hottie too!
I was drooling in the cinema when he took off his clothes, LOL.
he's shirtless in most of his scenes, which is a good thing, ahaha.

As you can see, my view is blocked by those cars and can't see that idiot coming.
At that time, I really thought he will bang my car..

I forgot to post an entry about my birthday celebration dinner with my parents

heeeee :P
The restaurant (called House & Co.) is in BSC.. I think it stands for Bangsar Shopping Complex. or something.
My mum and I went early to the shopping complex..
went to check out the restaurant and maybe shop around.
mana tau that stupid doofus complex is renovating.. like 90% of the stores were closed for renovation =.=
so we went there and literally ROT...
and that made me hungry and so, I bought fried food on a stick from Cold Storage supermarket =(
Hehe, anyway at around 7.10pm me and mummy went to the restaurant early ('cos we booked 7.30pm table)
and ordered a piece of cake.
Choc cake.. OKOK only.. Szelin bakes better cakes.. seriously :D

They sell household kitchen stuff while there's also dining area =.="

But definately wouldn't take the trouble to go there again.

I'm officially 18 yesterday!!!
whoopieeeeeeeeee!! ...

I'm happy and kinda sad at the same time today..
<Okay, let's start with the happy part first aite?
My friends took me to Kajang look up point for dinner yesterday! ♥
Western food! my favorite =)
Before heading to our dinner, we stopped by at Junn Lym's house for some MAHJONG!
and YES I finally learned to play mahjong! But I only know how to play for 3-players Mahjong only.
Not sure about the 4-players Mahjong =/
But anyhow.. playing Mahjong was kinda fun..
It started raining during the late evening and shortly after that, we headed to the restaurant.
Junn Lym drove my car because I'm kinda blur when I'm driving at night.
Plus I'm gonna fetch my friends..which means extra tension. hehe :P
When I got there, Ronald, Jing Shen, Marcus, Sheirly and Chloe have already arrived.
So sorry to them 'cos they had to wait for quite some time !
Didn't know they would reach there that early!
Anyways, our table has 16 people I think.
Them and Trix, Larry, Szelin, Shin Yii, Sherene, Junn Lym, Fei Woon, Shilei, Teck Chun, Yun Leng and Myself.
I ordered a combination plate of steak and chicken. It was okay =).
After our meal, we took some pictures with the beautiful scenary.
We took a couple of shots and then, they sang Happy Birthday song with a slice of cake. So cute =)
I took out the candle with my teeth (at the same time, watching Trix at the corner of my eye so that he doesn't push me and make me land my face in the cake).
Then, each of them fed me the cake. One bite of the cake per person. Haha.
And they bought me a nice present.. A box full of earrings and a super adorable card! ♥

so creative! When you open the card, the candle will be blown away =)

Enough of the happy part, now for the sad part.
Because I'm 18 already, under the Minors' Contracts Act 1987, I will not have a protection of minor against his/her inexperience. WHICH means.. I'm not a minor anymore and I can't get out easily from a binding contract. God dammit =(
On the other hand..
Half of my birthday day was ruined.. I went to uni early in the morning to find some info.
Thats not the sad part. THE sad part is that I have to stay for a short meeting at 2pm.
Which turns out to be 1 hour late at 3pm due to some unforeseen circumstances and bla bla bla.
And I got to Junn Lym's house at around 4.30pm.
Holy. We were suppose to hang out and sorts like that!
So there goes my half day.. vanished =(
Nonetheless I enjoyed my day after that .. =)
Another sad part was today, a special someone made me down..
That's pretty sad for me. He didn't show the enthusiasm to celebrate my belated with me.
So whatever. I'd just stay home and try not to think so much about it.
Looking forward to celebrate my birthday with my parents tomorrow night and Steph and Wing Yan the day after tomorrow ♥

Last Friday me, Shin Yii, Szelin, woon, shilei, Sherene and junn lym studied Business Law together.
After that, we cooked dinner ourselves! hahaha.. check it out..

our dinner consists of lamb chop, salad, mashed potatoes and mushroom soup!!

Heya guys!
today (yesterday actually, it's midnight already) me and my uni friends went to Jusco Cheras Selatan's Green Box for karaoke =)
we wanted to celebrate for my friend Fei Woon's birthday .. hehe.
our room has 6 people and there is also another group of our friends in another room.
Their room is super huge.. like x2 of our room.. cos they have more people.
We sang for 4 hours.. 10am until 2pm.. haha.. it was nice..
we sang until we were super tired haha..

After that, 6 of us went to Szelin's house to see some facial products that she is selling now..
we chatted for quite some time there..
we discussed about our childhood favorite cartoon.. very nostalgic..
From Madeline to Gummy Bears.. haha.. brings back old memories.

Later. we went to Shin Yii's house to cook some spaghetti =D..
it was nice.. mmm..!!!
After that we went home respectively and shower..
Then, after they finished, my friends came over to my house and they played mahjong..
(I don't know how to play.. so I just sat there and tried to understand..lol)
After mahjong, we played Big 2 (Chor tai ti).. and I won for quite a few rounds..haha
the interesting part was the one who loses will be hitted in the hand (and later HEAD) for how many cards the loser is left holding (i.e If the loser has 4 cards left, the winner will hit her/his hand(and later HEAD) for 4 times)
hahaha.. I've been hitted for 2/3 times..

NS life.. Part 4

Few days after the trip to Teluk Kemang beach..
almost HALF of our camp's population which is 80 plus.. (total 217 trainees..)
got down with a fever!
60 were boys and 20 were girls! (ahhaha.. guys so weak?)
we were suspected for H1N1 and was quarantined in a separate dorm from other trainees.
yeap..I was one of them that got a fever ><
my temperature at that time was 41 degree celcius.. scared the hell out of me..
so I was immediately sent to the hospital.. with 3 other trainees. 1 malay guy and 2 indian girls.
I went to the doctor and took the H1N1 test which was called the "throat swab"
where they put a thingy that looks like a long ear cotton bud into ur throat.
and you'll feel like vomitting X.x
anyways.. my report came out Negative for H1N1..
but nonetheless I still have my fever.
So, I stayed at the hospital for a couple of hours and used IV drip..
in other words, to "diao sui" to cool down my temperature.
(you know, where u poke a tube and fill the bottle with water and stuck it into my hands..)
And around 1 or 2 am I was free to go back to camp.
I was the only one that had the chance to go back camp that day~
which proves that my condition was less worse than the other 3 peeps.
Due to the H1N1 incident, my camp was closed for a week..
So I get another week of holidays.. =.="

Anyhow.. after the one week holiday, my camp continued its activites..
we had abseiling and flying fox =)

this is abseiling! its like 5 or 6 storey high and you come down with a rope (Refer to pic, I dunno how to explain)
for flying fox, its height is about 4 storey high from its starting point.
until it reaches the ground :) so it's slanting.. (its also in the pic, the rope that is slanting down)
anyhoo.. I didn't manage to play abseiling due to lack of time .. sigh..
but I did played flying fox.. and it was not bad!
but not that scary than abseiling! thats what I heard.

We also had "Kembara Halangan" in our NS training programme.
Our first challenge was this..

Challenge 1
hmm, at this stage, you have to cross that plank..
if you fall, you'll land urself in dirty murky water that hasn't been changed for few years.

Challenge 2
you need to pass this 6 feet wall.. guys can easily pass this without help.
girls on the other hand, needs one or two friends to help and push her up the wall.

Challenge 3
no pic for this challenge, but I DISLIKE this challenge the most!
you have to climb up a high wall and walk on top of it.. the width is only like 3 inches?
just right for one feet .. so its SOOO scary for me! and you have to pass these holes and stuff..
this challenge is why I didn't join the Kembara Halangan competition =.="

Challenge 4
This challenge is called the "Monkey Rack"
its like those monkey racks in taman permainan..
but if you fall.. you'll regret.
yup.. murky water that hasn't been changed for years.
Anyhow, I didn't fall into the water before =) (2 succesful tries)

Challenge 5
This is called the "Tarzan Swing"
yup, you'll grab the rope and SWING just like tarzan..
and once again, if you fall, you'll land into the dirty water..

Challenge 6
its easy peasy.. just get on 4 feet and crawl through this tunnel..

Challenge 7
no pic for this challenge as well.
its a stage where theres a low height barbed wire and you have to crawl..
well not really crawl.. its like lying flat on the ground and push yourself forward to move.
its called the "Spider Web" I think..

Challenge 8
This stage is called "Tembok 12 kaki" and is only for guys! (yay! :p)
cos this challenge needs alot of strength in order to push your friend up to top.
yes, this challenge requires teamwork!

Besides Kembara Halangan, we have the old school MARCHING!
I love kawad kaki alot..
and I miss it a HELL lot as well!

Anyways, I joined the marching competition..
only 11 girls over 23 girls can join the competition
and I volunteered! haha..
there were 11 girls and 23 boys I suppose..
we were against other companies like always :)

and... we were JOHAN!! FIRST PLACE! yeah!!

Also, not to forget.. we have an activity called "Wira Jaya"
We set up tents and sleep together under one roof.. haha..
actually we were supposed to set up the tent in the forest..
but due to some complications, we went to our recreation spot (where we play sports and all) to set the tents.
We had this competition called "Explore Race"
its something like The Amazing Race where you run to this place and there will be clues and challenges blablabla..
I joined this competition as well.. but sad to say.. Alpha got No.2.. =(..
its because we messed up a stupid clue...
all thanks to our "leader"... he read it carelessly and took us to the wrong placeS!!
yes places!! we run around like crazy people to wrong pitstops!!
Well.. if he didn't mess up the clue, we were definitely No.1..!!
oh well, Alpha is still No.1 in my heart no matter what! :P
During the night, we went to the forest for some night trekking!
Creeeeepy!
we walked for quite long in the dark forest.. with just a rope to guide us..
but there are glow in the dark mushrooms under our feets ^^
guys walked themselves and girls can go in groups.. hee..
after that, there was karaoke competition (weird huh?).. & other competitions
but Alpha didn't win.. again :(
had a bad sleep that night.. slept on the tar road with just a thin sheet covering on top of it..

A week after Wira Jaya, the ramadhan month came..
so all the Islams have to "puasa"..
thats why all the physical activitis was finished the week before..

So.. that is the main reason why I GAINED weight after NS.. sigh..
I gained 4 kg!!!!!!!!!!! argh..

Okay.. during August, NS camps OBVIOUSLY is gonna celebrate Malaysia's Independence Day!!
Maybe about 2 weeks before 31st August, my camp have a night called..
"Malam Penghayatan Kemerdekaan"
we learned sajak, puisi and bla3 for 3 days..
and for the last day, we had performances and all..
and once again.. I was in a choir on that day..
My clothes for that day was...

August went with just a blink of an eye..
and little did we know..

there was only a day left in camp =(
the night before we went back to our respective state and homes..
we had an activity to appreciate and replenish our memories in the camp..
its really really sad.. sigh..
It was our "Malam Penutupan Kem"..
our company flags and the PLKN flag were folded and handed to the Komanden Kem..
which marks that our NS training has ended.. =(
after that the teachers had a slideshow,read some sad sajak and sang a sad song.. (with closed lights)
and that provoked all the girl's tears including me of course..and maybe some guys..
then, lights were on again an we shook hands and hugged with our female trainers.. =(
But I was still sad and cant really stop crying.. lol ><
and few people wanted to take pics with me but I rejected.. (sorry..)
But then, I got over with it la eventually..
and took one or two pics..

My NS camp have a "gotong-royong" activity for "Khidmat Komuniti"
so we went to a beach (yay!) for it!
the beach is situated in Teluk Kemang.. and I forgot what is it called.
SO... we picked up the rubbish and all.. yes... yuck
and we distributed free plastic bags to the people there..
I forgot what kempen the beach was helding
something about the beach's cleanliness I guess..

Anyways.. during my NS I had holidays for a total of 3 times.
first was me getting a sick leave due to cirit-birit .. it was 3 days. (and thus, the outing with Yong and Hing)
second was because my camp willingly gave us 3 days of holiday!! yay!
and I did nothing much.. went out with Jet and Hing to watch Ice Age 3.. haha!

NS life.. Part 2

Well, for the second week of my NS,
there was this trainer's wedding and me and my girl frens were performing a chinese dance called "tarian kipas" aka fan dance.. =)
well..actually we were FORCED to perform..
teacher simply PICKED us from the crowd..
ugh.. how awful..
plus we were all from the same company! how unfair was that?
Anyways..there were 6 of us..
Leon, Cai Xuan, Choon Mei, Sally, Lu Yee and myself.

(not sure what o/c is, but Jian called it Orang Cacat)
and guess what?!
I WON!! YEAH!! first place!! for wirawati double kayaking..
oh yeah, girls are called as wirawati (heroin) and boys are called wira (hero) in NS (:

didnt bring my camera to NS! all steal from fren's cam! :D

Well.. a week after that, a few of my dormmates left NS..
cos of health problems.. mainly due to asthma..
it was because there was this case where an asthmetic boy in some NS camp died of it or some sort..
so.. our dorm said our "good byes" to Misha and Lu Yee.
On the other hand, Cai Xuan also left after a week.
She has another type of health problem.. very sad to see her leave. =(

hehe, one the fun part in NS is that I got to hold M16 !!
very heavy weapon!
felt very tired after firing 30 bullets from it ;)
10 bullets were just warming up ! .. for training
20 bullets counted for the marks!

NS life.. Part 1(Introduction)

hey guys!

haha. I've been dragging for a week to write this post!!
procrastinating to type and upload pics =(
'cos it's a real longggg story and I have so MUCH to tell! (and so little time :p)
hehe, okay.. first things first.. introduction!
my camp's name is Rachado Bay Camp..
and it is situated in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan.

its real cool coz...

it's situated between two beaches!!
Pantai Biru and Pantai Cermin!
yup.. so there's this cross junction..
right to Pantai Biru and left to Pantai Cermin.. and the distance to the beaches are just so near!!
we played our water sports (will talk more about it on next part) at Pantai Biru!!

I went in there for a couple of times before :p
we take our medication just outside that blue window.. so old school xP

this is our dewan makan! the place where we filled our stomachs 6 times per day.. =)

hey guys!!

as most of you know.. I'm currently in NS..
surprised that I'm back? :P
it's because I get 3 days cuti sakit.. cirit birit ><
Aiks.. but I'm going back to the camp by 5pm today..
Anyways.... I should talk briefly bout my life in NS right?
well.. I'm in the kompeni Alfa (Helang) Siri 6 Kumpulan 3..
my camp (Rachado Bay) is in between 2 beaches..
I forgot the name of the beaches..
but it's damn kewl cos we get to play kayaking and rafting at the sea~
and my camp is in the border of Melaka and Negeri Sembilan XD...
the jurulatih there are cool and nice.. but some are just grouchy and mean.. ugh.

As for yesterday, I went to watch Transformers 2 with Yong and Hing..
both of them also cuti sakit and followed my car back home..
cos they also lived near my house also .. ><

BTW Yong is Ketua Wira.. and he pinjam me his 3 pangkat badge and camwhore!! :D

Transformers 2 not bad.. rating 7/10..
I didn't really sit down and enjoy the movie cos when 1/4 of the movie,
I wanted to go to the toilet ><
but the stupid thing is that I went to the toilet when it's almost over!!!

but anyways. it's still a nice movie to watch =)
yesterday I didn't even used any money ><
they 2 belanja me junk foods, lunch, movie, popcorns and drinks!!

Singapore Trip 9-11 June

Bonjour.

went to Singapore with my sis and cous last Tuesday to Thursday.
Yeah, just 3 of us girls and the city country..
We started our journey at7.30am by bus..
Its about 5 hours drive to Singapore.
Thank god they have TV infront of every seat.
But the thing is the headset is only available by buying at the bus office.
because we didn't know.. only can watch the movies without any sound x.X
But.. I borrowed my cous' headset.. she didn't use it xD
anyway, reached there at 12.30pm and took the MRT (train) to Orchard.
Spent our afternoon in shopping malls around Orchard Road.
I bought a Paris Hilton bag which was on 50% discount.. ($90)..
was $99 after discount but we have this 10% tourist discount.. cool huh :D
(spoilers soon folks)
During evening we went to Woodlands - the areawe're staying (relative's house)to put down our bags..
and yes.. we shopped with our HEAVY BAGS!!!

ugh.. so frigging heavy and uncomfortable @@..
not to mention alot ppl stared at us ..
Anyway, we ate Pizza Hut for dinner and then went to Clarke Quay for some night entertainment..
We got lost as soon as we reached the Clarke Quay station..
The frigging map says that its at Boat Quay..
den we went there and a guy said its in another direction.. blablabla..
But alas..

and its just frigging near the MRT station..
we walked 1 big round >_<

but for the sake of experience..sigh..

Day 2

We went to Sentosa Island on Wednesday..
Went to VivoCity (a shopping mall) to catch Sentose Express (train) to the island.
But first we went there an ate breakfast @ The Coffee Bean =="
Then, we continued our journey to the small island~
We bought a package costing RM91.. (yeah.. we used Ringgit - there's some promotion there where Malaysians can pay by Ringgit for that package.. saves alot of money!)
with few attractions and gifts..
We received a purple sentosa miniature train as a gift.. it's real kewl!
I was hoping it will be pink >_< The first attraction @ the island that we went.. Merlion~ the symbol of Singapore

oh and I received my Sem 2 results today as well.
Kinda bad result.. but overall, I'm satisfied coz I achieved my target =)

BTW. I forgot to mention something
I'm going to Singapore with my sis and my cousin (from UK) this Tuesday until Thursday.
Yeah, only the 3 of us girls.
But we're gonna stay in a relative's house =)
so lodging is provided.
Then, Friday I might be going Genting Highlands and then Saturday and Sunday I'm going to Kuantan.
Busy busy week.
All of the holiday plans were discussed merely today.
Suddenly I'm from "VERY FREE" .. changed to "VERY EXTREMELY BUSY"
And tomorrow, Shin Yii and Szelin is coming to my house to bake a cake for fun~
most probably CHOCOLATE cake! woohooooo...
I'm going NS the following Wednesday. 17th of June.
Will miss my friends, family and my dogs T___T
